I won’t kiss you. It might get to be a habit and I can’t get rid of habits.
So this week. I just got home from my spring concert. A little emotional cause I’m close to some of the seniors. And just these guys have made my life awesome. And I did my solo, got major props, and didn’t barf and/or cry!! But these guys are amazing and I can’t think of anyone else I want to know, jam with, make jokes with, mess with, sit around and talk with, go to museums with. It’s crazy. This year I felt out of place and like I didn’t belong in jazz band and it took me a whole year to realize that I was right where I was supposed to be. And I don’t want to go anywhere else.
Oh god now I’m crying for real and I’m not even graduating.
This is my life and I wouldn’t want it any other way with anyone else.
And the other bassist, with whom I have bonded, proposed to me (to be her bass partner).
I love these guys. Even the seniors who barely knew me said they were gonna miss me. That made my year. And those classes won’t be the same without them.

You see the weirdest things at parks in LA. This guy was bench-pressing this goose for ten minutes.
